Dr. Paul Bronold
Fear Free Certified
Dr. Bronold is a 2006 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. He practiced emergency medicine in Nashville for 2 years before joining the Animal Medical Center Family in April 2011. He has 2 dogs who keep him very busy – a French Bulldog named Bruiser and a Boxer named Harley. He loves Auburn football but has learned to say “Roll Tide.”
Dr. Landon Grantland
Dr. Landon Grantland is a passionate veterinarian with a deep love for small animal general practice. A graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012, Dr. Grantland has dedicated his career to caring for animals and their owners. With a keen interest in complex medicine and surgery cases, he enjoys soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, dentistry, and oncology.
When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Grantland can be found spending quality time with his family. He enjoys riding bikes with his two children and watching Jeopardy with his wife, Lindsey. Their household is a bustling one, shared with three dogs, a cat, a hamster, and an eclectus parrot named scarlet. Dr. Grantland’s experience with birds and pocket pets adds a unique touch to his practice.
Driven by his love for animals and the joy they bring to people’s lives, Dr. Grantland is excited to meet the wonderful pet owners of Vestavia and provide exceptional care for their furry companions.

Dr. Timothy Colbert (Retired)
Dr. Timothy L. Colbert is a native of Orlando, Florida. Upon graduating from the University of Florida, he attended Veterinary School at Auburn University. In 1974 he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and re-located back to Orlando where he was in practice for 26 years. In April of 2002, Dr. Colbert and his wife, Carol, moved to the Birmingham area to be closer to their five daughters. Upon moving, Dr. Colbert purchased a clinic in the Southside area of Birmingham, Lakeview Pet Wellness Center. In August of 2003, he opened Columbiana Road Pet Wellness Center. Dr. Colbert is a member of AVMA, AAHA, the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce, and the Vestavia Hills Rotary Club. He is actively involved in Hand in Paw, an affiliate of the Delta Society, and he is an officer in the Jefferson County Veterinary Medical Association. He and his family are members of Shades Mountain Baptist Church. In his spare time, Dr. Colbert enjoys cycling, flying radio controlled airplanes and is an avid tennis player.
